Next Station along the line

My fascination with the D L&W railroad has grown over the years, a web site dedicated to the " Pagoda Style" rail depots of the D L & W is what prompted me to create my web blog about the Atlanta Train Station/Depot, mostly due to the other site's lack of information about my Depot in Atlanta. I have kept an eye out for pictures, post cards and related railroad memorabilia associated with the D L & W and my Depot in particular. Today's addition comes in the form of a post card I found on EBAY. One I had not ever seen, I am told the wooden depot in Wayland had burned down at some point and was replaced with the brick one which still stands today just east of Gunlocks along State Route 15. This location is also the site of a grizzly train collision where many were killed and seriously injured. I will post links to the story as well as the other web site from Scott Lawrence which does not list the Wayland Depot.
